“After having 2 horrendously failed nipple piercings by other studios I went to Lola to have it done a 3rd time and the difference in quality between a cheap piercing and a high end piercing definitely shows here!” Sage via Google
How does pricing work at Forest Piercing?
Our charges are made up of a combination of a piercing fee and a jewellery sale. So for example, a £25 piercing fee and a £25 piece of jewellery would make a total of £50. To view the available piercings and price list click here or to book click here
Why is there a price range displayed on the booking platform?
Jewellery styles vary a little in cost, for example a labret stud is £25 and a straight barbell is £32, so the starter cost of a helix piercing with a labret will be different to the starter cost of a nipple piercing with a barbell. We’ve listed each piercing and it’s starter cost here on this page to make sure you know the minimum complete cost for your piercing prior to booking.
What is a “Starter Cost“?
When we say starter cost or minimum cost, we mean the minimum complete cost of your piercing, with no surprise fees, with classic mirror polish implant grade titanium. In store, most piercings will have upgrades available for folks looking to be pierced with something jewelled or possibly a gold attachment or ring, these items will cost more but it’s not at all mandatory.
What does my jewellery charge pay for?
Piercing like any other industry has a spectrum of quality. Forest Piercing goes above and beyond the minimum requirements set forth by law. This means we don’t just use the equipment and materials we’re legally allowed to use, we seek out the best possible equipment and materials to use and that means working with quality suppliers and never settling for less. We import jewellery from manufactures who can provide verifiable milling certificates for their titanium and steel products. A milling certificate is a certified record of the physical and chemical properties of raw material, this is how we can be sure our piercing material is as described. We also work with suppliers who execute proper quality control checks on their products and we perform in house quality control checks on every item we sell to ensure that what ultimately goes in to you has never just come off of a production line and gone straight into your piercings without being inspected.
What does the piercing fee pay for?
Forest Piercing is a private piercing only business, we do not share our space with any other professional services such as tattooing or aesthetics. This means that our studio’s rent, business rates, VAT, gas/electric/water costs, license, (and everything else the universe can fathom for us to pay) must be paid for by the work we do. We offer an experience in piercing hygiene second to none, with single use products, sterile gloves, two stage skin cleansing and disposable marking.
We also conduct annual supplementary learning to maintain a high standard of best current practises, First Aid training, Blood borne pathogen training, and we pay staff a living wage. All of which is afforded by the income generated from performing piercings.
